ONE. i'm fresh and hot off the presses new here, friends. it'll probably take a bit for me to get a handle on things like formatting. i've got a full time job and i'm a full time college student. so some patience would be greatly appreciated. i'm okay with my formatting being edited for aesthetic purposes, just don't change up the text.
TWO. no freaks allowed. my policy for racists, homophobes, transphobes, antisemites, pedophiles, and other unsavoury types is zero tolerance. i'm not going to sit here for that "anti-anti"/"pro-ship" shit either. i will exercise my right to pretend it is the early 2000s and cyberbully you in front of god and the whole of tumblr dot com.
THREE. my blog is private and selective. i only write with the homies and my mutuals. i run things on a multiverse and multiship basis. i tend to follow based on two things: vibe potential and whether or not i can even read your content. honestly, if you like my product, i'll even adapt the character you're into for a particular verse if i feel like they'd work well in it.
FOUR. i do my best to carefully curate who i'm following, but i don't know what everyone's closet looks like. don't hesitate to let me know if i'm interacting with a freak. this doesn't mean knocking on my door to tell me to stop interacting with someone because you don't like them. having beef doesn't inherently mean someone is problematic; sometimes people don't work together and that is nothing to start a world war over.
FIVE. absolutely no minors allowed. hell, i’m even iffy on eighteen year olds. they can follow, but that doesn’t mean a follow back or interaction. i obviously don’t plan to write nsfw on the blog, but i don’t engage with anyone born after '02 any manner of nsfw topics. i don't care how mature jan says you are. jan is probably a freak.
SIX. all artistic depictions of my characters are done by yours truly unless stated otherwise! i would appreciate it if my shit were not traced, edited, or reposted. i honestly cannot imagine this happening, but just in case, i want this information out there.
SEVEN. most of my characters are supernatural to some degree. i have a weaknesses for things like aliens, magical beings, mutants, and all sorts of other nonhumans. however! i do have regular, mundane verses for each and every one of them. something i do to ensure my characters are interesting is mess around with a mundy au to make sure they are still fun without all the mystical gimmicks. i very much love sitting in the slice of life sandbox sometimes.
EIGHT. genres here include, but are not limited to: slice of life, urban fantasy, space opera, the occasional cheeky bit of horror, cyberpunk, sword & sorcery, solarpunk, whatever the hell unwilling government assigned superheroes falls under, motw, and many, many more. i'm also open to adapting my characters into specific fictional universes.
NINE. i would like to reiterate the legally blind comment. my eyes are bad, i have astigmatism and some themes and font sizes quite literally make my eyes burn! if i cannot see it, i cannot interact with it.

PHYSIQUE. six feet exactly. archetypal mom bod with a soft-firm core and wide hips. fit and overall strong-bodied. very clearly works out, but only has visible musculature when flexing. shoulders a bit on the broader side.
HAIR. dark brown with a thick section of white coming from her right temple on account of her piebaldism. naturally between 3c and 4a, often done in a rotation of styles.
EYES. deep dark brown with glowing yellow pupils.
SCARS. a mess of fractal scarring predominantly on her right side, a nasty work of them going down her right thigh, and a surgical scar on the crook of her left elbow from a surgery to be better fitted for prostheses.
TATTOOS. alchemical symbol for air on inner right wrist, linework knife going through a heart on the back of her neck, linework of her family home on her lower left rib and hip area, blackwork that grows into a sunburst in the crook of her elbow that starts from her residual left arm, linework sun/moon with the words "runaway with me" wrappng around the sun on her left shoulder blade.
PIERCINGS. both ears stretched to 9/16", navel, septum, both nipples, tongue. doesn't always wear all at once.

FIRST AND FOREMOST, sarai is highly proficient in the use of her heliokinetics. she grew up with the benefits of having inherited the mutation of her retired superhero father and her grandmother. it was through their instruction that she mastered her abilities and through her own creativity that she found other ways to utilize them.it is important to know that sarai's heliokenesis makes her hard to take down. she's really fucking sturdy. if she were to get knocked out, it would only take a few moments for the stored solar energy in her body to get her back up again. it takes someone very clever to go up against her and win.even before being tossed into the business of heroing, she's had an interest in hand to hand combat since age six. she's been under the tutelage of a former superhero in kickboxing, bajiquan, and jeet kune do.since becoming a government assigned superhero, she's been put through rigorous trainings to properly carry out her position. while generally unassuming in appearance, sarai is a deadly opponent. she prefers victory via knockout rather than outright murder, even in the field.don't engage unless you want to be lifted like a handful of grapes and tossed through a brick wall.
HELIOKINESIS. constructs creation & animation, sunny aura, solar healing, energy blasts, supernova, sun jumps, light generation & absorption, solar flight, heat conduction, light form, etc.

Skills & Abilities.
SO HERE’S THE DEAL, eli is a retrocognitive psychometer and their shit is busted. yes, they do see the memories on people and objects that come into contact with their skin. that part of it works just fine. however. if they are in contact with something for too long or even touch something that is exceptionally old for just a second, they become overstimulated. this overstimulation is one of several things that can cause them to have a seizure. sometimes for added spice, their brain will decide to get them lost in a cheeky little hallucination based on what their psychometry picked up. it isn't great, but they've found ways to live like this.to help them navigate the world is their service dog and familiar ronan the way too uncannily smart doberman. the two have been together for years. as long as eli is alive, he will remain healthy and at his prime. he's primarily trained for seizure detection and psychiatric purposes. over the years, he's also become exceptionally good at giving comfort and dpt, reminding eli to take their meds (often by ramming the bottles into their knuckles), doing the odd little chore or two around the apartment (lights, doors, etc.), and pulling eli from anxiety-inducing environments when they're in over their head.he's good dog.another means of protection eli has is a small collection of charmed jewelry. besides ronan and common sense, this is their primary form of protection. it turns all of their shit off at the cost of, well, turning everything except their extrasensory skills (aura reading and enhanced awareness) off. they have to say a silly little incantation to activate and deactivate their jewelry. while their psychometry can be a huge inconvenience, it sometimes feels like they've lost one of their senses when they don't feel the hum of psychic energy in the back of their teeth. so they only activate charm while at work, in a new environment, in a crowded place, around new people, when they go traipsing around the sewers, and what have you.
PSYCHOMETRY. retrocognitive, used for picking up memories off of objects, people, etc.
ASSISTED CLAIRVOYANCE. through the use of tools like tarot, crystal balls, or tea leaves.
SANCTIPYROKINESIS. they think it is just regular pyrokinesis, but gold.
